FLAN (the Flan Local-Access Notifier) is a digital signage software for computers running the FreeBSD Operating System. It is designed for use with the XLibre display server.
Why Flan?
Under Your Control.
The information you display is your own, from your own sources. Flan does not collect or log data, keeping your privacy in your control.
User-first By Design.
By not having pesky and unexpected anti-features, Flan is better able to do what you want, rather than what someone else decides you want.
Many Use Cases.
From classroom schedules to corporate events to everyday community activities, Flan can be used wherever a calendar schedule is required.
Please note that Wayland and XWayland are not supported with Flan, and they likely will never be supported. Wayland, being a GNU/Linux-centric technology with higher system requirements than Flan has makes it a bad choice here.
